Job Responsibilities: • Conducts sex education programs in school and other community organizations tailored to meet the needs of each audience. • Coordinates outreach and maintains community partnerships to promote PPKM’s education services. • Represents PPKM in the community, including at health fairs, schools, youth recreation programs, colleges and community events. • Receives request for programs through phone or e-mail and schedules, plans and delivers programs with those requesting them. • Maintains program records and produces monthly reports on program activities, accomplishments and challenges including program statistics, evaluation and demographic data. • Provides support for PPKM’s Publics Affairs and Development departments as needed. • Recruits, screens and trains volunteers. Job Responsibilities: 1. Support HR strategic plan and VP, HR in counseling and guiding managers and employees with performance management, staffing, disciplinary procedures, terminations, policies and procedures, exit interviews, legal issues and compensation issues.
2. Work with hiring managers to facilitate the recruitment process, assist with compensation issues and adherence to all federal, state and local regulations as they relate to fair and equitable hiring practices.
3. Working with VP, HR to develop a comprehensive diversity program that promotes cultural competence within the organization as well as impacts PPKM hiring practices.
4. Assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, update employee handbook to reflect changes.
5. Assists in development and evaluation of reports, decisions and results of the HR department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
6. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
7. Assists in developing and implementing new candidate sourcing strategies and manage current strategies.
8. Orient new employees insuring all required paperwork is completed, input and filed.
9. Administration of OSHA policies including reporting and adherence to federal, state and local regulations.
10. Works with Payroll Manager in issues related to employees wages.
11. Benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, communicating benefits information to employees.
12. Coordinate quarterly New Hire Orientation meetings, scheduling presenters, ensuring attendance by new employees, ensuring New Hire Manuals are updated and available, coordinating facilities and meals.
13. Develop new and maintain existing recruitment activity tracking databases and generate reports.
14. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
Minimum education and experience required.
