Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri
(PPKM) provides a broad range of reproductive
health care services, education and advocacy.
PPKM has 11
clinics across Kansas and Missouri headquartered
in Overland Park, Kansas, we offer services
in Lawrence, Wichita and Hays, Kansas and
at eight Missouri clinics, in Kansas City,
Warrensburg, Columbia, Jefferson City and
Grandview.

Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri seeks a world in which:
- every child is wanted and cared for
- every decision regarding sexuality is personal and informed, and
- everyone has access to affordable, quality health care
- Medical Services
PPKM's medical services include family planning and contraception, pregnancy testing, HIV testing, treatment of sexually transmitted infections, detection of cervical, breast and testicular cancers, and vaccinations for hepatitis and cervical cancer (Gardisil). Abortion services are provided by our affiliate organization, Comprehensive Health of Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri. Sixty-eight percent of our patients receive some subsidy for their care. No family planning patient is every turned away because of an inability to pay. - Advocacy
PPKM monitors public policy at local, state and national levels that pertains to reproductive health services and freedoms. With the assistance of hundreds of volunteers, PPKM supports public policies that are consistent with our mission of assuring that people can make and act on their own decisions regarding whether and when to have children. - Education
PPKM offers sexuality education to Kansas City area schools and organizations. We provide informative and interactive presentations on eleven topics. Presentations are designed to give young people information about reproductive health and sexuality and to help them make informed and decisions about relationships and sexual behaviors.
Our library, the Suzanne E. Allen Resource Library offers to the public brochures, books and videos on a variety of topics related to sexuality, reproductive health and reproductive rights. For more information on education, click here.
- Development
The commitment and generosity of our donors allow us to provide services to over 30,000 clients annually, many of who rely on us as their only medical provider and source of honest, medically accurate information. Our care is accessible to all who need it, regardless of their ability to pay.
